Calendar
The Calendar gathers every dated obligation in the workspace onto a single month grid, so nothing with a deadline slips through unnoticed. Instead of checking each module for what’s due, you read one page: which controls reach their ETA this month, which recurring tasks fall due, which risk acceptances expire.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Operations → Calendar in the sidebar. Opening it lands you on the current month; use the navigation arrows to move between months (the view rolls over year boundaries automatically).
What appears on the calendar
Section titled “What appears on the calendar”Each entry is placed on the day of its deadline and colour-coded by type:
| Entry | Plotted on |
|---|---|
| Applied controls | Their ETA |
| Task occurrences | Their scheduled date |
| Risk acceptances | Their expiry date |
| Audits | Their due date |
| Risk assessments | Their due date |
| Security exceptions | Their expiration date |
| Findings | Their due date |
Click any entry to jump straight to the underlying object — the control to update, the task occurrence to complete, the acceptance to renew.
Working with the calendar
Section titled “Working with the calendar”The month view is a review surface, not a data-entry one: dates are set on the objects themselves. That makes the calendar most useful as a recurring ritual:
- At the start of the month, scan the grid for everything due.
- Reassign or reschedule what clearly won’t happen — an ETA you know is wrong is worse than an honest one, because roll-ups and overdue flags all key off it.
- During the month, use the calendar to prepare weekly operations reviews: the cluster of items around a date is your agenda.
- At month end, anything still sitting on a past day needs a decision — complete it, move it, or escalate it.
Entries assigned to you are highlighted, so your own slice of the month stands out from the team-wide picture.
