Data Import Overview
The Data Wizard allows you to upload structured Excel files that match the provided templates and automatically populate relevant CyberGuard.ai modules.
Typical imports include objects such as Assets, Users, Applied Controls, Perimeters, Audits, and Follow-ups.
Steps for Upload
Download Templates: Review the available templates and ensure your file structure matches the required format.
Choose the Model: Select the corresponding data model (e.g., Assets or Controls) that aligns with your file’s content.
Set the Scope: Choose a specific domain, framework, or perimeter to apply the data import.
Upload the File: Click Choose File, then Upload to begin parsing and validation.
Review the parsing results to confirm successful data mapping or to identify any errors.
Fallback Options
If your file does not specify a domain, framework, or perimeter, use the Fallback Domain or Default Framework fields to define these during import.
This ensures that all records are associated with the appropriate organizational context.
