Assets
The Assets page in CyberGuard.ai provides a centralized inventory of all critical assets within your organization’s infrastructure. It enables users to register, classify, and manage assets based on their type, security objectives, disaster recovery requirements, and associated domains.
By maintaining a structured asset repository, organizations can link each asset to corresponding security and compliance controls, ensuring every system, application, or dataset is properly accounted for in cybersecurity assessments. This page serves as the foundation for risk evaluation, business impact analysis, and disaster recovery planning within the CyberGuard.ai ecosystem.
Usage Notes
Adding New Assets
Click Add Asset to register a new item in the asset inventory.
Specify details such as asset name, type (e.g., server, application, database), and domain it belongs to.
Define security objectives (e.g., confidentiality, integrity, availability) and disaster recovery objectives to align with organizational resilience goals.
Viewing and Editing Assets
Click the view icon to see asset details, including its assigned security parameters and relationships to frameworks or assessments.
Use the edit icon to update or modify asset information as systems evolve.
Filtering and Searching
Use the search bar to quickly locate assets by name or domain.
The filters button allows refined searches based on type, recovery objectives, or specific security criteria.
Linking with Risk and Compliance
Assets managed here are automatically integrated with the Risk and Compliance modules.
This ensures that every risk assessment or audit references up-to-date asset information for traceability and consistency.
Data Classification and Ownership
Assets can be tagged with custom labels to classify them by sensitivity, owner, or function, aiding governance and data protection initiatives.
